The world is full of amazing things to discover.
I want to use my kids’ natural curiosity about it as a vehicle to teach them all sorts of things. To facilitate this goal I created some Report Writing Guides for young learners.
I asked my daughters to choose one thing they wanted to learn about and check out some books from the library on the subject.
My 6 year old chose to learn about gymnastics and completed a report about the subject. I wasn’t sure exactly how it would go over, but it was a big hit and we were able to explore all sorts of learning subjects along the way.
I thought I’d offer the guides I created to my readers in case you find them useful in your own home.
Please let me know what you thought. And you know, I’d be happy to make any changes just for you – yes YOU, so ask away. I love the sense of community I’m feeling as I’m getting more into blogging. Homeschooling can be a lonely adventure but you all are making it a lot more fun! 🙂
